alexbohs: After all that happened today, I want to take a few minutes to give out some very special thank you’s to some very special people! To the Vimeo staff/editors, I want to give you all another HUGE thank you for featuring my newest film, Half on your “Discover” page.  Because of you, I have had the most magnificent day/experience chatting and communicating with people from all over the world! While we are on the subject, and while I am also in the most thankful mood ever, I want to also thank Yahoo! for creating the Babel Fish Translator because honestly, without that device, most of my conversations would not have been possible (since I lack the ability to learn other languages sadly)!  The fact that people from around the world have seen Half blows my mind in general but the fact that it was able to resonate through the different environments, cultures, and societies, honestly stuns me.  Thanks for giving me the chance to feel that connection, people of Vimeo. To the viewers: Currently Half stands at over 10,000 hits.  (pause to represent my actual lack of words.)  I am in awe of each one of you for taking the time to watch this (and even contact me in most cases)!  Was NOT expecting this type of reaction in the slightest and I hope you all know just how much fun it was getting to chat with you and hear about all that YOU do!  Words can’t describe how great it felt to feel united through one little video and as cheesy as this all sounds, yesterday was a day I will never forget.  Thank you for giving me this opportunity.  I owe each one of you a hug (and please hold me to that).
